Class Description

The Make-A-Ring Workshop is one of our most popular workshops! Choose your stone. Craft your ring. Dip your toe into metalsmithing.

Step 1: Pick your stone! You can gather a few stones for the design process, but pick 1 for your final ring. We do allow you to bring your own stone if you prefer. BE AWARE: we have first right of refusal if the stone is not a good fit for a beginner or this class.
Step 2: Design your ring! Use templates or draw your own. Keep things simple or embellish your ring. Additions you can choose to include are stamped details, wire, texture, and "bobbles".
Step 3: Make the dang ring! Your instructor will help bring it all together. From sawing to soldering to setting your stone, you’ll get individualized instruction every step of the way.

Prerequisite: No Experience Needed
Tools& Materials: Provided
Techniques: ring sizing, forming, soldering, bezel creation, bezel setting, filling, sanding, and patina
Food & Drink: We will have Beverages (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic) and Food (example: veggie sticks, cheese, salami, fruit, nuts, and cookies) - We understand that this is a long class. Please feel free to also bring your own beverages and food if needed.
Class Size: 6 People
Must be at least 14 years old to participate. Please note, tickets are NON REFUNDABLE for any reason. Please be sure you are able to attend the event(s) time and date before purchasing.
