2026 Biennial Metalsmith’s Garage Sale

VENDORS AND TOOLS WANTED

ABOUT :

Every other year, Alloy hosts a garage sale designed for metalsmiths and jewelers ready to clear the bench and cash in. Clean out the box in the basement. Break up with the tools collecting dust. We all hoard a little—but some of it deserves a second life.

In 2024, 150+ motivated buyers showed up, and vendors sold over 80% of their inventory within the first two hours. We market heavily across local and Midwest jewelry communities to bring the right crowd: jewelers, studio owners, makerspaces, and serious hobbyists actively looking to buy.

In 2026 we’re partnering with Mildred’s, Jess Rogers, and the Crossroads Flea—expanding outdoors and tapping into an even larger audience.

Run your own table or let us handle the selling. One day only. Sunday, May 10, 9–3.

Selling Options:

  • It’s your stuff and you want to sell it. We will simply provide the venue and marketing. You will handle everything else.

    How It Works

    • $50 / per table - no limit on the number of tables you can rent

    • At signup, you may upload up to 5 photos for use in event marketing and promotion.

    • You run your own sales and process your own payments.

    • You keep 100% of your revenue. Alloy’s only fee is the table rental.

Seller Note: Sales tax is not required for items sold at a garage sale.

  • This is the most hands-off option. You don’t have to do a thing, we will take care of it all. If your collection is large enough we would even be willing to come and pick it up.
