private studio (#734)

Missouri River Sapphire Company's mission is to provide exceptional colored gemstones (mostly faceted) to discriminating customers.  All of our gems are custom cut here in North America with a focus on beauty, as opposed to carat weight. We offer fine North American-mined gems whenever possible, usually buying directly off small miners/collectors in an effort to bring you the most beautiful materials produced on our continent.  We specialize in unheated Montana sapphires from the Missouri River gravel deposits, and strive to be the best store online to buy Montana sapphires.

Although most of our inventory is completely natural untreated material, we do occasionally carry gems that have permanent, stable treatments.  Any treatment will always be fully disclosed in the description.

All of our North American Gemstones are by nature conflict free and fair trade.  When you purchase an American mined and cut gem from us, it is a guarantee that the strictest environmental and labor ethics were applied to every step of the process.
