Jewelry expert and gemologist Tom Tivol is joining us for an exclusive talk! Tom Tivol is one of the most respected jewelers in the Kansas City area and a nationally acclaimed G.I.A. graduate gemologist, lecturer and teacher. Tom has been buying and selling diamonds, colored gemstones, pearls, and jade and designing beautiful jewelry for clients around the United States for over 48 years.
During our event, Tom will discuss gem identification, appraisal, and how to navigate evaluating already made pieces. Think - “What do I do with this pile of jewelry from my grandma?!” or “What do I need to know before reworking my client’s heirloom jewelry?”
