One of our newest workshops! We’re diving into making hollow forms.
Take your skills to the next level! In this class you’ll be learning how to work with dimension by creating hollow ring forms. You must already know how to saw, file, and solder before taking this class. We will provide copper for making the rings, but BYO silver if you prefer! You can also buy a silver sheet in our store when you arrive.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR, KELLY:
I’ve always loved making and creating things, and once I found metalsmithing in college, I was hooked. For me it is the perfect combination of creativity and science. I graduated with a BFA in metalsmithing from KU in 2003 and spent 2 years apprenticing as a bench jeweler at Kizer Cummings Jewelry. The combination of school learning and hands-on training in a jewelry store has given me a solid base of skills and knowledge from which I have built my own career in metalsmithing, as MeritMade. I look super forward to having you in class and sharing my love of metalsmithing with you.
